Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an autonomous, high‑integrity Computer Network Security Engineer to join our AI‑first e‑commerce company in Delhi. You will own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our network security posture, ensuring resilience against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS.
• Configure and manage Next‑Gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and enforce Zero‑Trust access controls.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and potential breaches using SIEM and network monitoring tools.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and drive rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection laws.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to harden systems and promote a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Network Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Based in Delhi and able to work on‑site in a hybrid model.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Next‑Gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching.
• Proficiency with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL).
• Experience using SIEM platforms and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools.
• Familiarity with network monitoring, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
