Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

Knowdis.ai is seeking a trusted Computer Network Security Engineer to own and evolve its IT security infrastructure. Based in Delhi and working in a hybrid model, you will protect the company’s digital assets, support AI‑driven e‑commerce solutions, and ensure resilience against emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS.
• Configure and manage Next‑Gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and potential breaches.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and drive rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and data‑protection regulations.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to enforce Zero‑Trust access controls.
• Educate staff on security best practices and foster a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role.
• Based in Delhi or willing to relocate immediately.
• Ability to work on‑site in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Next‑Gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Deep knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching.
• Expertise in VPN architectures (IPsec, SSL).
• Proficiency with SIEM tools.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
