Community Coordinator & Manager

About the role

Global Women Power is seeking a passionate Community Coordinator & Manager to help expand its women‑empowerment initiatives across the United States, India and globally. The role combines outreach, partnership building and media coordination to amplify the voices of inspiring women.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and connect with successful women across diverse industries and professions.
• Build and maintain relationships with professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, social workers and community leaders.
• Support the design and execution of empowerment programs, awareness campaigns and community events in the U.S. and India.
• Research and recruit speakers, mentors, guests and partner organisations for podcasts and other media projects.
• Conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn and social media; coordinate interviews, meetings and events.
• Maintain organized records of contacts, partnerships and ongoing initiatives.
• Collaborate with the internal team to develop new programs and partnership opportunities aligned with GWP’s mission.

Required profile

• Experience volunteering or working with nonprofit organisations, NGOs or social‑impact initiatives.
• Familiarity with organisations in the United States, India or both is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging with professionals, executives and community leaders from varied cultural backgrounds.
