Community Builder & PR Manager

About the role

HerGrowth is seeking a Community Builder & PR Manager to be the voice and growth engine of its global women‑professionals network. You will nurture member relationships, drive engagement across multiple channels, and raise the brand’s visibility through strategic media outreach and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily and weekly engagement on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Circle, Slack and other community platforms; design onboarding flows and activation journeys.
• Launch and manage engagement rituals such as weekly themes, challenges, spotlight series and peer circles to convert passive members into active advocates.
• Plan and execute virtual sessions and local meet‑ups in priority markets (UAE, GCC, India, Africa, global hubs), coordinating speakers, moderators and follow‑ups.
• Build partnerships with women‑focused networks, universities, accelerators and corporate DEI leaders, co‑creating value‑adding initiatives.
• Own PR outreach: identify media outlets, podcasts and newsletters, draft press releases, pitch founder narratives and secure speaking opportunities.
• Create and curate member success stories, hiring wins and event recaps to fuel user‑generated content and strengthen credibility.
• Track community and PR metrics weekly, reporting on growth, activation, retention, mentions and partnership leads.

Required profile

• Passionate people‑person with strong storytelling and networking abilities.
• Experience managing online communities and running virtual or hybrid events.
• Proven ability to develop media relationships and secure coverage.
• Self‑starter who can balance community‑first initiatives with brand amplification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with community platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Circle and Slack.
• Familiarity with PR tools and media outreach processes.
