Communications Officer – Research Integrity & Ethics

About the role

This hands‑on Communications Officer position supports Springer Nature’s research integrity, ethics and editorial policy initiatives. You will help maintain trust in the research we publish by delivering high‑quality communications across India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications campaigns that showcase research integrity work globally and in India.
• Draft content such as blogs, press releases, social media posts and internal communications.
• Identify relevant stories, case studies and partnership opportunities to highlight regional initiatives.
• Support events, thought‑leadership activities and stakeholder engagements, especially those based in India.
• Monitor research‑integrity‑related issues, draft media responses and coordinate input from RIG, editorial, legal and regional teams.
• Maintain issue trackers and contribute to reporting on communications outcomes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on communicator eager to build experience in a high‑profile, complex communications environment.
• Strong interest in research integrity, ethics and editorial policy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with corporate affairs, research integrity groups, editorial teams and regional stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
