About the role
Hilton is looking for a motivated Commis I to join its kitchen team. You will work in a fast‑paced, 5‑star hotel environment, preparing and cooking food for guests and team members while supporting senior chefs.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare food efficiently, economically and hygienically according to standard recipes.
- Assist the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations and prompt service.
- Plan, prepare and present high‑quality dishes following recipes, standards and plating guides.
- Maintain HACCP standards and use all kitchen equipment, tools and machines correctly.
- Participate in off‑site events, inventory taking and occasional non‑kitchen tasks as required.
- Respond to guest feedback, attend training sessions and ensure food quality meets Hilton standards.
Required profile
- Junior Middle School graduate or higher.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Cook or 1 year as a Commis II in a 5‑star hotel (or equivalent internship).
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset and willingness to learn.
Required skills
- Food preparation techniques.
- HACCP compliance knowledge.
- Operation of kitchen equipment and tools.
