About the role
The Front Office Agent is the first point of contact for guests at The Ritz‑Carlton Pune. You will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, handle payments, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every visitor.
Key responsibilities
- Process guest check‑ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
- Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards.
- Manage check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and produce accurate closing reports.
- Answer guest calls and inquiries, record requests, and coordinate with Housekeeping for room readiness.
- Provide parking information, dispatch bell or valet staff, and give directions to local attractions.
- Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
- Perform cash handling duties, count bank at shift start/end, and balance receipts per accounting guidelines.
- Follow safety, security, and company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
- Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean, professional appearance.
