Cluster Collections Manager (Jaipur)

About the role

PhonePe is looking for a Cluster Collections Manager to lead its collections team in Jaipur. You will own the performance of a cluster of collection executives and third‑party recovery agencies, ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments while maintaining a superior client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise a team of Collection Executives and coordinate with external recovery partners.
• Drive the collections process for the assigned cluster, monitoring KPIs such as resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Own portfolio delinquency rates, implement strategies to control roll rates and reduce bucket‑wise delinquencies.
• Develop and execute tailored collections strategies based on data analysis and portfolio health.
• Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures, internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct daily monitoring, regular portfolio reviews and prepare performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading collections or recovery teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership and people‑management skills to motivate and guide a high‑performing team.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements and process adherence.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management.
