Cloud Security Operations Specialist (DevSecOps Engineer)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Operations Specialist to design, implement, and maintain security controls for our cloud‑based infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and respond to incidents across an EMEA‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy security controls for AWS (and optionally GCP) environments.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with Dev and Ops teams.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Evaluate cloud service providers and third‑party vendors for security compliance.
• Provide security guidance and awareness training to internal teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Relevant certification (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, CISSP).
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures, especially AWS; GCP knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• AWS security services (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM)
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation (CDK a plus)
• Python programming and boto3 library (TypeScript a plus)
• Cloud security frameworks: CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001
• Web Application Firewalls and Cloud Security Posture Management tools
• Networking concepts: VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS
