Cloud Security Engineer - I

About the role

Invesco is looking for a motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join its Global Information Security team. You will be responsible for protecting the company’s SaaS applications and customer data by designing, implementing, and monitoring cloud security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security strategies, policies, and procedures for SaaS environments.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in the cloud.
• Define technical security requirements for cloud workloads, including IAM, security groups, data protection, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and SIEM integration.
• Research and design cloud security solutions aligned with NIST Framework and Cloud Security Alliance guidance.
• Create and deploy Infrastructure‑as‑Code scripts to automate security controls.
• Support cloud projects and tactical initiatives with hands‑on implementation of security technologies.

Required profile

• Passion for cloud security and a strong understanding of SaaS application protection.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience documenting and updating security procedures and policies.
