Cloud Engineer

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate cloud platforms that support its banking services. You will work with Kubernetes, Docker and other cloud‑native technologies to deliver scalable, resilient and secure solutions for public‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, deploy and manage containerised workloads on multiple public clouds.
• Implement service‑mesh and networking solutions to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business initiatives into technical solutions.
• Continuously improve platform reliability through Site Reliability Engineering practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
• Strong background in cloud‑native development and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple public‑cloud platforms and service‑mesh technologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
