Cleanroom Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Cleanroom Technician to maintain and support the operation of our controlled environment facilities. The role involves routine upkeep of cleanroom systems, ensuring compliance with contamination control standards, and assisting with equipment installations and validations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of cleanroom systems including HVAC, chillers, exhaust, compressed air, DI water, and gas lines.
• Operate equipment and machinery within the cleanroom while adhering to gowning and hygiene protocols.
• Support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Monitor cleanroom parameters such as temperature, humidity, and particle levels, and report deviations daily.
• Oversee building management and environmental control systems for alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Document procedures, batch records, and logs accurately and timely.
• Handle and transport materials in compliance with contamination control guidelines.
• Assist with cleanroom validations, equipment calibration, and inspections as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably within a cleanroom or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience working in a Class 100‑1000 cleanroom is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
