Civils Site Grading – BIM Engineer

About the role

Egis is seeking a motivated civil engineering professional to join its BIM team and support site grading and land‑development projects. You will create and manage 3‑D design models, drawings and documentation for municipal and interdisciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and draft engineering and construction drawings for land‑development and municipal engineering projects.
• Develop 3‑D models, plans, profiles and surfaces using Civil 3D.
• Produce design spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and written reports for development projects.
• Enhance data charts and tables for client presentations.
• Interpret and apply standards from regulatory bodies and project stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
• Stay current with CAD/Civil 3D tools and best practices in collaboration with senior designers.

Required profile

• College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology or a related field.
• Experience in consulting engineering, land development or municipal engineering design is an asset.
• Strong analytical and computer skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D (including pipe networks, surfaces, alignments and corridors)
• Microsoft Excel
• Projectwise, BIM360, Procore or Sharepoint (cloud platforms)
• Dynamo and Python for automation
