Civil Projects Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Projects Manager to lead the civil engineering aspects of thermal projects. The role combines project planning, design review, on‑site supervision, quality and safety assurance, and cost control to ensure successful delivery of civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering plans, schedules and resource allocations in coordination with project managers.
• Review and validate design documents, drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance with codes.
• Oversee execution of foundation, structural concreting, piling, RCC and related civil works, ensuring adherence to approved plans and safety standards.
• Implement on‑site quality control processes, including material testing and inspections.
• Enforce strict safety policies, conduct audits and maintain a zero‑incident environment.
• Monitor civil‑work budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities and report deviations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring contractual obligations and schedules are met.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation such as daily progress reports, inspection records and as‑built drawings.
• Communicate with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities for approvals and clearances.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement and sustainable construction practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university (master’s degree preferred).
