Civil Project Execution Engineer

About the role

The Civil Project Execution Engineer will oversee the planning, execution, and handover of construction projects, ensuring alignment with design drawings, safety standards, and schedule commitments. This role acts as a bridge between architects, contractors, and the project management team to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve potential mobilization delays by comparing site and liaison surveys.
• Organise preliminary works such as temporary boundary walls, security and project offices, and utility connections.
• Validate project layout against GFC drawings and coordinate adjustments with architects, PMC, and contractors.
• Assist in preparing baseline schedules and ensure resource availability to avoid delays.
• Maintain compliance registers, track expiring permits, and raise RFIs for specification changes.
• Plan and deliver safety training, maintain safety checklists, and ensure appropriate safety equipment on site.
• Monitor customisation execution, snag removal, and support final handover activities.
• Coordinate with Facility Management to resolve post‑handover defects during the liability period.
• Track daily progress against weekly schedules, escalating deviations and driving corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction project execution and coordination.
• Strong understanding of GFC drawings, site mobilisation, and resource planning.
• Ability to manage compliance documentation, permits, and safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and issue escalation.
