Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer – Onshore Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Worley is seeking Civil Engineers and Senior Civil Engineers to join its Baroda office and support onshore upstream and downstream oil & gas and petrochemical projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver structural and foundation designs while advancing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead domestic and international projects in the oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical sectors.
• Perform RCC and steel design and analysis for piperacks, technical structures, substation/control rooms, compressor shelters, warehouse sheds, equipment foundations (tanks, heat exchangers, vessels, pumps), STG/GTG foundations, transformer foundations, cooling towers, etc.
• Utilize structural software such as STAAD, MAT3D, RAM Connection, FDN 3D, IDEA Statica, and RCDC.
• Apply American, Indian, and Canadian codes and standards throughout design phases.
• Prepare conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design documentation.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or ME/M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
• 6‑18 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in the oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience in modularization and international code compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
