Civil Construction Manager

About the role

The Civil Construction Manager leads all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This senior position coordinates subcontractors, resources, and stakeholder relationships while supporting the growth of project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor overall construction progress, subcontractor performance, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, project safety plans, and local regulations.
• Oversee construction quality and verify that works align with approved designs and quality standards.
• Track project costs, forecasts, and productivity to meet budget objectives.
• Identify, report, and manage design changes and construction modifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Maintain construction records, reports, and project documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop site teams, promoting knowledge and technology transfer.
• Plan, execute, and optimise plant, labour, and subcontractor resources.
• Prepare project and end‑of‑contract reports as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects and site operations (18‑25 years).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, and project execution.
• Sound understanding of cost control, quality management, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team development abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver project objectives efficiently.
