Contracts & Procurement Engineer – Navi Mumbai

About the role

We are hiring an experienced Contracts & Procurement Engineer for a reputed engineering consultancy and project management organization in Navi Mumbai.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts from pre‑award procurement through post‑award administration, including subcontract management, change orders and claims.
• Review tenders, contract documents, identify scope gaps, discrepancies and commercial risks, and prepare reports for senior management.
• Lead and guide a Contracts/Subcontracts team, overseeing contractual payment, schedule, scope, risk and change management.
• Participate in commercial evaluation and procurement processes, and conduct commercial meetings.
• Handle dispute resolution and ensure compliance with Design‑Build and Progressive Design‑Build contract terms.

Required profile

• 10+ years of contracts management experience, preferably in EPC/Infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Design‑Build and Professional Services contracts, including risk assessment and interpretation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering; MBA or Contracts Management qualification preferred.
• Exposure to piling‑related contracts is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract management, change certificates and commercial risk mitigation.
