City Marketing Manager

About the role

Rapido is seeking a City Marketing Manager to lead city‑specific growth initiatives. You will be responsible for driving first‑time user acquisition and increasing monthly transacting users through targeted marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify user triggers, barriers, and city‑level trends.
• Design, launch, and optimise city‑specific marketing initiatives to boost FTUs and MTUs.
• Identify and execute innovative brand activations and promotions.
• Establish and manage partnerships with local stakeholders such as metro authorities, transit hubs, tech parks, NGOs, and traffic police.
• Drive brand visibility through PR initiatives in collaboration with local government bodies.
• Oversee vendor relationships from onboarding to performance tracking.
• Track, measure, and optimise marketing initiatives to ensure high ROI and alignment with city growth targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field from a Tier 1/Tier 2 institute.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree with a marketing specialization is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing roles within high‑growth startups or consumer‑focused companies.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, consumer behavior, and local market dynamics.
• Experience in marketing strategy, campaign execution, and brand activation planning.
• Proficiency in market research, user insight generation, and voice‑of‑customer analysis.
• Analytical ability to evaluate marketing impact, ROI, and performance metrics.
• Stakeholder, partner, and vendor management, including NGOs and government bodies.
• Project management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
