Cinema Manager

About the role

The Cinema Manager leads the operations of a multiplex in Gurugram and Faridabad, acting as the Revenue Centre Head. The role focuses on achieving customer satisfaction targets and revenue goals through efficient execution of standard operating procedures and strong people management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and drive financial performance (SPH, ATP, strike rate) and achieve monthly revenue targets for box office, concessions and LAM.
• Implement SOPs consistently, track daily performance, and reward high‑performing team members.
• Lead local area marketing initiatives to increase admissions and position the cinema as a premier entertainment destination.
• Control COGS, ensure timely redressal of customer complaints, and maintain high scores in quality and mystery shopper audits.
• Plan and deliver on‑the‑job and operational training for managers and front‑line staff.
• Manage attrition by keeping the team motivated and engaged.
• Coordinate marketing drives, ensure accurate performance reporting, and support asset upkeep through cross‑functional collaboration.
• Handle statutory compliance and liaison with local authorities for smooth operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling P&L for a cinema or similar entertainment venue.
• Strong understanding of all functional areas within a multiplex and their impact on profitability.
• Ability to build bridges across multifunctional teams and deliver results against targets.
• Excellent customer focus while balancing business objectives.
• Reports to Area/Regional Manager and ensures alignment with corporate directives.
