About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our accounting firm in Raipur. The successful candidate will lead accounting activities, ensure compliance with legislation, and support clients with expert financial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee the accounting team.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports, budgets, and annual statements.
• Conduct internal and external audits and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Prepare tax returns, track tax liabilities, and advise on tax‑related matters.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify and recommend measures to prevent fraud and improve financial processes.
• Negotiate monetary terms with vendors and support financial planning.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accredited by a recognized professional body.
• Solid work experience in accounting, auditing, and tax compliance.
• Ability to supervise a team and implement efficient accounting processes.
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial risks and suggest preventive actions.
