Certification Engineer – Avionics & Cabin Electronics

About the role

Airbus India is looking for a motivated Certification Engineer to join its Certification Technical Directorate. You will ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance of avionics and cabin electronic systems across Airbus commercial aircraft, supporting both new deliveries and in‑service modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise Minor Change approval privileges granted by EASA, complying with Part 21 and Design Organisation Approval requirements.
• Allocate and lead change dossiers in Airbus tools (AirCAM, ACC2, ICC) and classify changes against Part 21 criteria.
• Appraise design changes, identify applicable requirements, and verify compliance with the Compliance Verification Engineer.
• Complete Modification Approval Summaries, approve or refuse changes, and record approvals in ACC2.
• Report airworthiness issues to the Chief Airworthiness Engineer and support repair‑approval processes.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience as an Avionic or Cabin System Engineer with strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple change approvals under tight delivery schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AirCAM, ACC2 and ICC tools.
• In‑depth understanding of EASA Part 21 and airworthiness certification processes.
• Technical knowledge of commercial aircraft avionics and cabin systems.
