CCTV Monitoring Officer

About the role

The CCTV Monitoring Officer will continuously monitor live CCTV feeds across JS Bank branches, ATMs and critical premises in Karachi, identifying suspicious activities, security breaches or safety hazards. The role involves timely incident reporting, documentation and coordination with the security team to ensure a safe banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV streams from branches, ATMs and other bank locations.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior, security incidents or safety hazards.
• Document events in logs and escalate according to established protocols.
• Review recorded footage for investigations and support incident analysis.
• Check camera functionality, report technical faults and coordinate repairs with IT or vendors.
• Maintain confidentiality of all visual data and related reports.

Required profile

• Strong observational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a control‑room environment, including extended screen time and shift‑based schedules.
• Minimum high school diploma; a degree in security management, criminology, IT or related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of bank security protocols or prior experience in security operations, law‑enforcement support or surveillance monitoring is an advantage.
