Cashier – Multiple Locations

About the role

The Cashier is responsible for executing all cash‑related transactions and operations at branch locations, ensuring compliance with internal and external banking guidelines. This full‑time position supports the smooth functioning of the branch by handling cash, cheques, drafts and other instruments while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque and draft receipts, and maintain accurate registers.
• Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation and prepare the daily branch report.
• Manage the branch vault and cash custody jointly with the Operations Officer.
• Collect loan repayments as per EMI schedules and update system entries.
• Interact with customers, address queries, and promote bank products and services.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies and defined turnaround times.
• Validate customer identity for cash withdrawals and verify deposit slips for audit purposes.
