Australian Tax Accountant – On-site in Mohali

About the role

We are looking for a sharp, detail‑driven Tax Accountant to manage Australian tax and accounting operations for our international client base. The role is based in Mohali and works on an early shift aligned with Australian business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships according to Australian guidelines.
• Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations and BAS/IAS preparation in line with ATO standards.
• Ensure full ATO compliance and meet all lodgement deadlines.
• Support year‑end financial statements and tax planning activities.
• Liaise directly with Australian clients and coordinate with the on‑shore team on queries and reporting.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of accounting or tax experience, preferably with exposure to Australian taxation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Willingness to work the 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM shift.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks (Australian edition).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
