Cashier - Multiple Location

About the role

The Cashier is responsible for executing all cash‑related transactions and operations at branch locations in line with banking guidelines. This full‑time position ensures accurate processing, reconciliation and safe custody of cash and valuables.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cheques, drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders and other instruments within authorized limits.
• Disburse cash for withdrawal requests and collect cash for deposits, maintaining accurate system entries.
• Collect loan repayments as per EMI schedules and update relevant registers.
• Maintain inward/outward, petty cash and asset registers; prepare requisitions for the regional office.
• Perform daily cash tally, end‑of‑day reconciliation and prepare branch cash reports.
• Manage vault operations jointly with the Operations Officer, ensuring security of cash and valuables.
• Provide courteous customer service, address queries, promote bank products and guide customers to alternate channels.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies governing cashier operations.

Required profile

• Experience in cash handling or banking operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Ability to work full‑time in a branch environment.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and staff.
• Reliability in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security procedures.
