About the role
We are looking for a reliable Cashier to join our retail team in Vijayawada. The successful candidate will manage all cash, card and digital transactions at the checkout, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily cash, credit/debit card and UPI/digital payments accurately using POS software.
- Issue correct bills, receipts and change to customers promptly.
- Reconcile register balances and manage shift cash drawers at the end of each day.
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and respond to basic inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized and secure checkout area.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a cashier in a retail environment.
- Strong basic math skills, high attention to detail and honesty.
- Good communication skills, reliability and a customer‑focused mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Experience using credit card machines.
- Familiarity with digital payment platforms such as UPI.
