About the role
The Associate (Cashier) will be responsible for handling guest payments and managing food coupon transactions at the hotel or restaurant. This position ensures that cash and electronic (UPI) payments are processed accurately and that all related records are kept up‑to‑date. The role supports daily financial reconciliation and contributes to a smooth guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Accept cash and UPI payments from guests, ensuring each transaction is recorded accurately.
- Issue food coupons to guests as applicable, following the established procedures.
- Maintain a day book that logs all coupon issuances and sales transactions for audit purposes.
- Prepare daily reports summarising the number of coupons sold and related financial data.
- Reconcile coupon sales figures with the cash received to verify completeness and accuracy.
