Carpenter – Ålesund Area

About the role

UNU AS is expanding its project portfolio in the Ålesund region and is looking for skilled carpenters to join the team. You will work on a variety of construction projects, collaborating closely with colleagues and site foremen.

Key responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks in close cooperation with team members and foremen.
• Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, environment (HSE) and quality standards.
• Support smooth project execution and keep timelines on track.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and project plans.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a carpenter (trade certificate is a plus but not mandatory).
• Efficient work style and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Proactive attitude, taking initiative and delivering results.
• Comfortable using digital tools for documentation and communication.
• Willingness to work on-site away from home for periods when required.
