C# Automation Lead – Selenium & Playwright

About the role

Persistent is seeking an experienced C# Automation Lead to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high‑quality delivery of web and API applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using C# with Selenium and Playwright.
• Design, implement, and execute automated UI and API test cases.
• Define automation strategy, best practices, and coding standards.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to improve test coverage.
• Identify, log, track, and support resolution of defects.
• Perform regression, smoke, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of professional experience in test automation.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in C# programming.
• Proven experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
• Solid background in API testing.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and design patterns such as Page Object Model.
• Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of SDLC/STLC.
