Business Trainee – Legal Support

About the role

The Business Trainee position is part of Invesco's Young Leadership Program, offering hands‑on experience across legal and compliance functions in a global investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Americas, EMEA and APAC legal teams on paralegal projects, including responding to subpoenas and regulatory notices.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and uploading agreements, confidentiality NDAs and other legal documents to SharePoint and online repositories.
• Support legal analysts with fund disclosure updates, registration statement amendments and tender offer documentation.
• Prepare board books, agendas and post‑meeting materials for fund board meetings.
• Maintain legal calendars, prepare status reports and contribute to research projects as needed.

Required profile

• Legal research, investigation and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across time zones.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
