Business Tax Associate (US Tax Compliance)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Tax Associate to support our clients with US and non‑US tax compliance, tax provision, and related accounting tasks. You will work closely with senior tax professionals and client teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing US federal income tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S) and related workpapers.
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions under US GAAP.
• Help compile data and prepare annual statutory tax provisions for local GAAP in collaboration with country teams.
• Prepare estimated and extension tax payments and manage the payment process.
• Perform balance‑sheet tax account reconciliations, gather supporting documentation, and work with clients to resolve reconciling items.
• Create journal entry packages, return‑to‑provision entries, and obtain client approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an MBA in Finance.
• At least two years of experience in US and/or non‑US direct tax compliance.
• Strong accounting knowledge with a willingness to deepen US tax expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint.
