Business Development Specialist – Market Entry

About the role

GROEAST is seeking a full‑time Business Development Specialist to join its Bhubaneswar office. You will help global clients unlock growth in new markets by identifying opportunities, generating leads, and supporting market‑entry projects across India, Vietnam, and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and prepare reports and presentations for client proposals.
• Coordinate meetings, calls and maintain accurate records in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with consulting, IT and e‑learning teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Provide responsive customer service, handle client queries and support the execution of market‑entry and expansion plans.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate markets and support strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication abilities for client engagement and internal collaboration.
• Experience in lead generation and pipeline development, preferably using search and verifier tools.
• Knowledge of market research for regions such as India, Vietnam and the Middle East.
• Background in business development, consulting or B2B sales in international or emerging markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with search and verifier tools.
