Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Business Development Specialist to drive growth for Dhariwal Ayurveda’s extensive portfolio of Ayurvedic products. You will work on‑site, identifying new opportunities, building relationships with distributors, retailers and institutional clients, and supporting both domestic and export market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key markets.
• Generate leads, conduct sales outreach, follow‑ups and deliver presentations to potential partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and institutional clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, proposals and negotiations.
• Conduct market research, track competitors and analyse sales performance.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to improve market penetration.
• Support customer‑service initiatives, gather feedback and represent the brand at events, trade shows and client meetings.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to use data and metrics for strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Prior experience in business development, sales or key account management, preferably in healthcare, wellness, Ayurveda or consumer goods.
• Customer‑service orientation with a proactive, results‑driven mindset.
• Interest in Ayurveda, holistic wellness and ethical healthcare practices.
