Business Development Officer – FinTech (Bhubaneshwar)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to accelerate growth for our fast‑growing FinTech platform. The role is field‑based, requiring you to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through multiple channels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Drive sales and lead‑generation activities to meet or exceed targets.
• Conduct market research to uncover customer needs and emerging trends.
• Present, promote, and position our digital‑first, paperless EMI solutions to potential clients.
• Negotiate and close deals effectively to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in retail or FinTech.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet aggressive targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
