Business Development Officer (BDO) – FinTech

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Officer (BDO) to accelerate growth for our fast‑growing fintech platform. The role is 100% field‑based, requiring you to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through multiple channels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Drive sales and lead‑generation activities to meet or exceed targets.
• Conduct market research to uncover customer needs and emerging trends.
• Present, promote, and position our digital‑first, paperless EMI solutions to potential clients.
• Negotiate and close deals effectively to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in retail or fintech.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet aggressive targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
