Business Development Manager – Redevelopment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Redevelopment team. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, acquiring, and closing redevelopment opportunities across housing societies and urban renewal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business development activities for redevelopment projects, from opportunity identification to preliminary due diligence.
• Source and evaluate redevelopment opportunities in housing societies, cluster projects, and other urban renewal initiatives.
• Build and manage relationships with society members, managing committees, consultants, landowners, and government authorities.
• Conduct financial and commercial assessments to determine project viability and recommend acquisition strategies.
• Drive negotiations and support the execution of term sheets, development agreements, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as DCPR, RERA, municipal regulations, and redevelopment guidelines.
• Coordinate with legal, design, finance, approvals, and project teams to facilitate seamless acquisition and transition to execution.
• Liaise with municipal authorities and statutory bodies to support approvals and project commencement.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy developments to identify emerging opportunities.
• Prepare business cases, management presentations, and acquisition proposals for leadership review.

Required profile

• Established network within housing societies, redevelopment consultants, and local authorities.
• Experience in cluster redevelopment, slum rehabilitation (SRA), or large‑scale urban redevelopment projects.
• Strong understanding of redevelopment regulations, approvals, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Multilingual proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is an advantage.
