Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the growth of life, health and general insurance business through the agency channel. You will be responsible for building and managing a high‑performing team of insurance advisors while ensuring compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Generate Life, Health, and General Insurance business through the agency channel.
• Recruit, train, and develop insurance advisors/agents.
• Manage and motivate a team of advisors to achieve sales targets.
• Drive branch revenue, productivity, and profitability.
• Provide ongoing sales support, field coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct training sessions on products, sales techniques, and compliance.
• Build strong customer and advisor relationships.
• Ensure branch operations follow company and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics.
• Develop local market strategies for business expansion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in generating life, health and general insurance business through agency channels.
• Track record of recruiting, training and developing insurance advisors/agents.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
