Business Development Manager

About the role

Join a fast‑growing US‑based brand in the foodservice sector as a Business Development Manager. You will be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries, qualify warm leads and support existing customer relationships, helping to move sales conversations forward.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming customer enquiries, sample requests and lead submissions.
• Qualify warm leads, gather relevant information and guide prospects toward meetings and next steps.
• Manage routine prospect and customer communications via email and phone, handling basic objections professionally.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure important opportunities are tracked and do not fall through the cracks.
• Maintain organized records of customer and sales conversations, ensuring the right information reaches the right people.
• Help design and implement systems, workflows and support processes that scale with company growth.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in inside sales, outbound sales, sales support or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Proven ability to handle inbound enquiries, lead qualification and multi‑threaded prospect communication.
• Comfortable working independently, following up persistently and moving opportunities forward without constant supervision.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and dependable with strong follow‑through.
