About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead the growth of MakeMyTrip’s independent hotel portfolio in Goa. You will build and nurture relationships with hotel owners, drive revenue performance, and ensure a seamless end‑to‑end experience for our partners.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, onboard and manage independent hotels, providing guidance on best practices and performance metrics.
- Develop and execute business plans to increase net revenue, maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure competitive pricing across platforms.
- Analyse data, prepare MIS and market intelligence reports, and share actionable insights with hotels and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals and strategise marketing initiatives to maximise hotel visibility.
- Conduct regular site visits, train partners on the extranet and wholesale processes, and monitor monthly production reports.
Required profile
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- High energy, team‑player attitude with a results‑driven mindset.
- Experience in hospitality or travel‑industry business development, preferably at senior executive or assistant‑manager level.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
