Business Development Manager – Alternate Accommodation

About the role
The Business Development Manager (Alternate Accommodation) will report to the Zonal Manager and operate from Bangalore. The role focuses on connecting with villas, apartments, homestays and premium vacation rentals, managing key accounts and driving sustainable performance across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with independent hosts, aggregators and chains, handling end‑to‑end account management.
- Develop and execute business plans to grow net revenue, maintain inventory levels and ensure rate competitiveness across platforms.
- Analyse data, produce MIS and market intelligence reports, and provide actionable insights to partners.
- Conduct market site visits, train partners on the extranet and wholesale processes, and review monthly production reports.
- Negotiate and close deals, strategise property marketing and support partners in meeting customer needs.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of experience in sales, travel trade, key account management, contracting or B2B sales.
- Proven ability to manage multiple hotel or accommodation accounts.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience leading a team of account managers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
