Business Development Executive – Food Service (Goa)

About the role

As a Business Development Executive for Food Service in Goa, you will drive growth of McCain’s food service portfolio by managing distributors, building strong relationships with hotels, restaurants and cafés, and expanding the customer base across the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned distributors and sub‑distributors in North Goa, boosting primary and secondary sales.
• Build, maintain and grow relationships with HORECA customers, including hotels, restaurants and cafés.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand McCain’s Food Service footprint.
• Achieve sales targets, business objectives and KPIs for the territory.
• Track and report secondary sales performance using company reporting formats.
• Support new product listings and execute customer‑specific activities to increase adoption.
• Maintain commercial hygiene by handling claims, order placement, NCC processes and distributor‑related activities.
• Lead and support Territory Sales Incharges and Supervisors to accelerate growth.
• Execute trade activations, promotional initiatives, sampling programs and other business development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG, preferably in the HORECA/Food Service channel.
• Strong understanding of business planning, territory management and sales execution.
• Proven distributor management capabilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering results and meeting business targets.
• High sense of accountability, resilience and adaptability.
