Business Development – Architecture & Interior Design

About the role

This Business Development position focuses on building and expanding relationships with architects and interior designers. You will work closely with sales and design teams to generate new projects, meet sales targets, and support the company’s growth in the design sector.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate long‑term relationships with architects and interior designers through visits, regular communication, networking events and industry engagements.
• Analyse market trends, customer preferences and competitor activities to identify expansion opportunities.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, tailoring solutions and proposals to client needs.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor actions, providing insights for product development and marketing strategies.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective projects, accurately tracking leads and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Monitor ongoing projects, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution of issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, design, operations) and external partners to align business development efforts with company objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the architecture or interior design sector.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage architects and interior designers.
• Ability to meet defined sales targets and drive revenue growth.
• Analytical mindset to interpret market data and customer feedback.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
