Business Analyst - Payments Support

About the role

The Business Analyst – Payments Support will bridge business needs and technology solutions within ANZ’s Payments Division. Based in Bangalore, you will translate customer insights and strategic intent into actionable designs, journey maps and service blueprints that drive banking initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define experience‑led strategies that align with business goals and customer expectations.
• Shape future‑state journeys and service models across banking domains.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research to uncover customer behaviours, pain points and opportunities.
• Facilitate cross‑functional workshops with product, risk, technology and operations teams.
• Develop low‑ to high‑fidelity prototypes and validate concepts with customers and business stakeholders.
• Partner with business architects, product owners and transformation leads to embed design into strategic planning.
• Influence investment decisions through compelling design narratives and artefacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating strategic design artefacts such as service blueprints, experience maps, future‑state journey maps and concept cards.
• Strong facilitation and co‑creation skills for workshops and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to translate research insights into design principles and opportunity areas.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
