BTP Architect – Presales (SAP)

About the role

Westernacher is looking for a seasoned BTP Architect with strong presales experience to join its growing India team. You will combine deep technical expertise on SAP Business Technology Platform with client‑facing skills to design, showcase, and sell SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on expertise across one or more BTP pillars such as Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, Extension Suite, Data & Analytics.
• Lead presales activities, including solution design, demos, and responding to RFPs for large enterprises or government customers.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless hand‑over from sales to implementation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with SAP BTP innovations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development stacks.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of overall SAP experience with at least 4 years focused on SAP BTP, ABAP and Fiori development.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP presales experience.
• Strong ABAP background (OO ABAP, reports, BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud integration and extensibility patterns.
• Good understanding of security, identity management and BTP sub‑account landscape design.
