Branch Manager (Stock Broking)

About the role

The Branch Manager (Stock Broking) will lead the Ahmedabad branch, driving profitability, market expansion and client acquisition while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. You will build and mentor a high‑performing sales team and deliver a comprehensive suite of investment products to high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, develop and scale the branch’s business in Ahmedabad through market expansion and new client acquisition.
• Identify, onboard and nurture HNI & UHNI clients via personal networks, referrals and outreach.
• Recruit, train and mentor relationship managers and sales staff to meet individual and branch targets.
• Develop and deepen relationships with retail and HNI clients, offering tailored investment solutions.
• Implement operational policies, ensure regulatory compliance and conduct regular audits.
• Address client inquiries, resolve issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Design and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover business opportunities.
• Analyze financial reports, identify performance gaps and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing to launch promotional campaigns and organize client events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5‑7 years of brokerage or capital market experience, including 2‑4 years in a leadership role.
• Relevant licences and certifications (e.g., NISM).
