Branch Manager – Retail Gold Loan (Makrana/Kuchaman)

About the role

The Branch Manager – Retail Gold Loan leads a branch of Aditya Birla Capital Limited, overseeing gold loan operations, driving business performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch‑level business performance, including disbursement, new customer acquisition, yield, and collections targets.
• Lead and supervise branch staff (ABM, Gold Valuer, GLO, CSE) ensuring productivity and performance management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers, partners, authorities, and community influencers to grow the branch’s customer base.
• Ensure accurate gold valuation, loan structuring within LTV norms, and proper documentation for new and renewal transactions.
• Enforce strict adherence to RBI norms, internal policies, risk processes, purity testing, and audit standards.
• Monitor portfolio quality by tracking delinquencies, yield, tonnage, auction ratios, spurious/bentex cases, and overall branch growth metrics.
• Uphold operational governance and risk KPIs while delivering superior customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a retail loan or gold loan branch, with a focus on business growth and compliance.
• Ability to lead and supervise a multi‑disciplinary team, including ABM, Gold Valuer, GLO, and CSE.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, internal risk policies, and gold valuation processes.
• Capability to structure loans within LTV limits and ensure accurate documentation.
• Analytical mindset to monitor portfolio performance and take corrective actions.
