Branch Manager – Gold Loans (Vikasnagar, Dehradun)

About the role

The Branch Manager – Gold Loans will lead the branch’s gold loan business, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and an excellent customer experience. You will be responsible for driving disbursements, new customer acquisition, and maintaining portfolio quality while overseeing a dedicated frontline team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch‑level business performance and achieve disbursement, yield, and collection targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with local customers, partners, authorities, and community influencers to boost acquisition.
• Lead and supervise branch staff (ABM, Gold Valuer, GLO, CSE) with focus on productivity and performance management.
• Ensure accurate gold valuation, loan structuring within LTV norms, and proper documentation for new and renewal transactions.
• Maintain strict adherence to RBI regulations, internal policies, risk processes, purity testing, and audit standards.
• Monitor portfolio metrics such as delinquencies, yield, tonnage, auction ratios, and spurious/bentex cases.
• Oversee audit, collections, and risk KPIs while upholding operational governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a gold loan or secured lending branch.
• Strong knowledge of RBI guidelines and internal compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and achieve business targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with customers, partners, and local authorities.
• Analytical mindset to monitor portfolio health and drive growth.
