Billing Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and verifying bills for construction projects, ensuring accurate quantity take‑offs, BOQs and rate analysis in line with project specifications and contracts. This full‑time position is based in Vadodara with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify client and subcontractor bills, including quantity take‑offs, BOQs and rate analysis.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to collect measurement data and update billing systems.
• Reconcile quantities, ensure timely submission of bills and maintain accurate billing records.
• Review drawings and technical documents to support cost control and budgeting.
• Assist with audit, compliance and management reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to billing processes and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills.
• Knowledge of construction billing systems and rate analysis.
• Robust analytical skills for data validation, reconciliation and reporting.
• Experience in industrial or infrastructure construction billing is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant ERP/billing software.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for a hybrid work setup.
