Billing Analyst – US Shift (Hyderabad)

About the role

The Billing Analyst will support residential and commercial invoicing for a regulated electric and gas utilities market. Working on US shift hours from the HCL Kokapet campus, you will ensure timely and accurate billing using the SAP billing platform while adhering to regional energy policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve transactional and customer billing queries generated from systems and the Exceptions Management Framework.
• Validate accuracy of standard and complex products during daily bill audits.
• Analyze and correct customer issues arising from failed transactions or invoicing errors.
• Create, review, edit, and validate billing documents for completeness.
• Submit invoices to customers according to defined specifications and meet KPI and SLA targets.
• Escalate unresolved issues to leads and supervisors promptly.
• Research, calculate, and apply adjustments to issue corrected invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer‑facing problem solving or issue resolution.
• Familiarity with utility billing processes and regional energy regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP (billing module) and CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
